To assist musicians/sound engineers using PCs, we thought to provide an article aimed at improving the performance of PCs running audio applications under Windows XP, which is currently the most widely used PC platform for running audio applications.
The article will be composed of three parts, the first of which demystifies a series of "myths" offered on certain websites, and presents/explains the 3 modifications that bring the greatest improvements to the performance of audio applications. The second and third parts of the article will be released soon, offering additional tips.
