LD Systems MAUI 28 G3 - The MAUI 28 G3 delivers massive, powerful, and precise sound, with an RMS power of 1,030 W (peak of 2,060 W), suitable for all applications: as a main PA for concerts, a sound system for mobile DJs, or a public address system at weddings, corporate events, and many more.
The columns are equipped with 12 x 3.5-inch mid drivers and 2 x 1-inch tweeters, providing uniform sound distribution with constant horizontal dispersion in combination with the innovative phase plug design. Additionally, the optimised waveguide for BEM in front of the tweeters transports high frequencies even into the audience areas at the back.
The MAUI 28 G3 columns are designed as cardioid speakers. This allows control of low-mid frequencies in front and up to 18 dB of attenuation at the back, resulting in a clean sound on stage.
Equipped with a single 12-inch woofer and four bass reflex ports, the MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer delivers a clear, tight, and powerful low end down to 37 Hz. By using a second subwoofer, the bass response can also be increased by up to 6 dB and can be driven in cardioid configuration by pressing a button (cardioid preset).
