Focusrite Scarlett OctoPre - Preamplifier with 8 inputs 2nd Generation Scarlett, balanced line inputs, with 24-bit conversion with a resolution of up to 192 kHz and a dynamic range of 109 dB and ADAT connectivity.
On the front panel, it offers 2 high-headroom instrument inputs with a pad on each channel, specially designed for high-output guitar pickups or any Hi-Z signal. These inputs are ideal for recording guitars, drums, keyboards, vocals, etc.

On the back of the unit, there are 8 balanced line outputs directly connected to the inputs, allowing the unit to be used in live situations, providing the possibility of simultaneous recording through the ADAT digital output.

ADAT is a simple and easy method to expand analog inputs. It uses optical "light-pipe" cables to carry audio signals of up to 8 channels. You just need to connect the ADAT output from the OctoPre to the ADAT input of your interface, set the sample rate and clock source. Most interfaces provide ADAT inputs.
