Neumann KU100 - a binaural stereo microphone shaped like a human head, featuring two microphone capsules positioned at the ears, capturing sound exactly as it would be heard by a person. It can be used for studio recordings, ideal for radio theatre, as well as a measurement microphone in industrial applications, sound testing within automobiles, and for testing the performance of audio headphones. It can be powered via phantom power 48 V, through an external power supply, or via an internal battery. At the bottom of the unit, there is a selector for the type of power supply, connectors for balanced signal output (XLR) or unbalanced (BNC), and a microphone stand mount. It includes a 10 dB attenuation switch and a high-pass filter. It uses transformerless circuits, with a fast response and very low noise. It comes in a protective and transport aluminum case, an external power supply unit, a 5-pin XLR cable, and an adapter cable that converts the 5-pin XLR output to a 3-pin XLR output.
