KRK Systems was founded in 1986 by Keith Klawitter. Disturbed by the fact that he could not find sound monitors that offered him clarity and precision, he began to build his own monitor. Other engineers and producers noticed Keith's studio monitors and thus the company was born. Its beginnings were due to Keith's talent for electronics, his passion for music, his originality, and his vision. For KRK Systems, good sound does not come from the studio, from the microphone, or from the latest sampling device, but comes from the heart and from the authenticity of the experience – this is KRK's philosophy.
