Featuring a solid mahogany top, back, and sides, the bold style and balanced, articulate sound make the Malibu Special a natural partner on stage and in the studio. Suitable for any style, the mahogany neck has a comfortable, slim 'C' shape profile inspired by Fender's electric heritage. It also includes a premium preamp system designed by Fender & Fishman®, specifically voiced for the Malibu body shape, allowing you to reproduce the guitar's natural sound when connected to an amplifier.
The uncompromising attitude of the Malibu Special extends to its build quality, offering scalloped X bracing for superior resonance, an improved nut and saddle made of bone, and an angled back for enhanced support. The elegant maple binding, matching maple rosette, and 6-in-line headstock create the quintessential Fender vibe of the Malibu.
