I say you should spend some more money

I just had a sound setup and the place we were at had speakers of this exact model. I understand they are cheap, but they have a 15" driver and the bass is not present, they are heavier than the ones from the Mackie Thump series (which sound much better, I understand they are also more expensive). Personally, I do not recommend them, they sound way too bright for me, way too many highs, if you want to put an electric guitar on them, forget it, the sound will not please many musicians.
