EXCELLENT!

I purchased this preamp along with the Marantz Pro MPM 1000 studio microphone and I am VERY pleased with the results! The sound quality is exceptional, the amplification is adjustable with the 'GAIN' knob, and the 'DRIVE' button can provide interesting sound effects in the form of controlled distortions. I love the analog VU meter, complemented by an LED that signals overloads ('clip'), and the illuminated buttons give this device a modern look. The ability to activate/deactivate Phantom Power allows me to use both condenser microphones (activated) and dynamic ones (deactivated). It’s an excellent purchase, which is why I recommend it to everyone, especially in tandem with a high-performance studio microphone!
