Avalon Design V5 Mono DI-RE-Mic Preamplifier - Silver

Avalon V5 - Pure Class A preamplifier for studio microphones that can serve as a DI for musical instruments or as a Re-Amping input. It features a polarity selector, separate XLR microphone inputs, XLR line, TRS line jack, and 1/4" Hi-Z jack inputs for optimal input impedance. The selectable input pad offers adjustable attenuation, depending on the type of input required. Instead of just providing a low cut filter, Avalon has included a Tone Bank that contains 10 EQ curves.

Additionally, to eliminate noise produced by high frequencies from instrument pickups, a High-Cut filter from -3dB to 3.7kHz is provided, which can be activated as needed. The output section offers options such as XLR and TRS jack outputs, as well as RE-AMP/thru outputs. Alongside all this, there is a headphone output with a 1/4" jack connector, allowing you to quietly record through the DI input, guitar or bass tracks, for subsequent re-amping.
