Booster pedal that provides an amplification of up to+20dBalong with a spectral alteration of the tone. Ideal to be used after a distortion/overdrive pedal for enhancing the sound.
In theory, a booster is just a volume increase, but in practice, it's much more than that. Used right before the amp as the final link in the fx loop, it's extremely easy to control and even with the volume at '9 o'clock', it pushes you right to the front of the mix among your bandmates perfectly. It doesn't change the initial sound, but it seems to spice it up a bit in terms of volume, of course, but also in saturation, sustain, and a bit of compression. In short, everything you do with it sounds better :-) The price is fair, and the size is super advantageous for placement on the pedalboard. In short, I recommend buying two, one before the preamp and one in the fx loop :-)
