LD Systems Zone 423 - a 2-zone mixer designed to occupy 2 rack units (1U). It features 4 line inputs and two microphone channels that can be assigned to a zone or master output. It has an input for an external emergency announcement system with its own volume control, and a connection for a remotely controlled mute switch. It is ideal for controlling PA sound systems for restaurants, clubs, hotels, fitness centres, presentations, and DJs. The two balanced microphone channels are equipped with controls for Gain, Talkover volume, 12V phantom power, and a 3-band EQ.
Additionally, it offers line, phono, and stereo Aux inputs with RCA connectors, a FOH input with a balanced stereo jack connector, a USB input, and a 3.5 mm mini jack.
The USB port is used as an input/output and allows the mixer to be used as an external audio interface. The 4 input channels have individual gain control, with a signal peak display, 45 mm faders for volume adjustment, and cue buttons.
The master and zone sections have EQ, balanced XLR outputs, and RCA. The signal level indicator can be assigned for zone or master, with the maximum output level settable for zone or master from the back of the mixer. In addition to all this, it offers a headphone output with volume control and a recording output.
