Previously known as “Standard ESP”, all ESP E-II instruments are crafted in our ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan and are designed for professional players who do not compromise on tone, feel, or reliability of their guitars and basses. The E-II Eclipse Full Thickness is exactly as the name suggests... a body with a traditional thick design. This guitar features a set-thru construction, using a solid mahogany body with a flamed maple top, which looks stunning in the Tobacco Sunburst finish, complemented by single-ply cream binding. The E-II Eclipse Full Thickness also has a mahogany neck with a bound ebony fingerboard, which includes ESP flag inlays and a satin finish on the back for super smooth playability. Premier components include Gotoh locking tuners, a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece, a bone nut, Dunlop strap locks, and a set of Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker pickups with push-pull controls to activate three different tonalities. It includes a rigid form-fit case from ESP.
