Cort X100 OPBK - The entry-level model of the new X Series, the X100 features the same smooth and fast playback as the latest generation X series models, with a Meranti wood body and hard rock maple neck, Jatoba for the fingerboard with a radius of 400 mm (15.75"), two output humbucker pickups, and a 6-point tremolo system available in three open-pore finishes: Black, Black Cherry, and Black Cherry Burst.
The Meranti body has tonal characteristics similar to mahogany, with a strong midrange that will cut through the mix with authority for rhythm, while also providing sweet highs for lead/solo playing.
The Powersound pickups deliver a punchy and classic humbucker tone with an unbeatable quality/value ratio.
The vintage-style 6-screw tremolo bridge transfers more vibrational energy from the strings into the guitar body for greater acoustic resonance, while also providing excellent tuning stability.

Jatoba is a very dense and rigid wood, making it ideal for fingerboard use. Jatoba produces strong fundamentals and volume projection, with an emphasis on bright mids.
