Palmer Pro Monicon XL, a precise volume controller for studio monitoring - to prevent sound coloration, the circuits are completely passive, power is required for the built-in headphone amplifier. Monicon XL has 3 input channels - 3 x stereo analog and 1 x S/PDIF and has 3 stereo output channels for 3 pairs of monitors, each with individual volume control for level calibration. Additionally, it has a full-range mono sum output for mono monitoring or subwoofer.
A specific functionality of the Monicon XL is the presence of a correlation meter that displays the phase differences between the left/right stereo signals. The controller is equipped with 2 headphone outputs with dedicated volume control, cue selection switches, master cue, and a switchable talkback microphone with volume control.
The mute and dim buttons have volume control and allow for instant reduction of levels with preset values.
