Presonus Notion 6 - software for composition and musical performance that uses classical score or tablature notation, for Mac, Windows, or mobile devices. Create music by writing directly, entering notes using a MIDI instrument, or through the virtual keyboard, virtual string instrument keyboard, or the integrated virtual drum pad.
You can play back the score for listening using the built-in real audio samples, orchestral sounds recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, guitar sounds recorded by Neil Zaza, bass guitar sounds recorded by the famous Victor Wooten, and drum sounds recorded by Roy "Future Man" Wooten. It also offers other samples such as Olympus Micro Choir and Lakeside Pipe Organ by Soundiron. It features enhanced VST support and PreSonus effects.
Projects can be integrated into any professional DAW via ReWire, or by using audio/MIDI streaming, and integration into PreSonus Studio One. It offers film scoring capabilities, controls that can manage the appearance of scores, MusicXML support that provides communication with other types of notation or music applications. It allows exporting WAV and MP3 files with instant sharing on SoundCloud.
