Not sensational at all, just excellently natural :)

I've been using the KSM 32 since 2000 for radio broadcasting and voiceover. It has a simple and elegant design, like a collector's item, and the shockmount adds an extra legendary touch. The first feeling after connecting it to the audio interface is that it brings a calmness to the preamp that you didn't have before :) It's silent, has a clean sound, and your voice sounds so pleasant and natural, surprisingly - without flattering you with extra bass and most importantly, without adding highs like other condensers do. It's the only microphone I've tried in 20 years of radio that hasn't highlighted the 's' sounds - it's like it has a de-esser built in :) I believe the price is unbeatable for such a beautiful and useful microphone - much cheaper than the TLM 103, which is very close in performance. I recommend it for treated studios, for radio broadcasting, and for voice-over - especially for TV documentaries, audiobooks, and radio spots. Visually, it's not as well-known as the TLM 102 or TLM 103 models from Neumann, but it's used in the radio industry in the USA, at the public radio NPR, on various podcast projects. In Romania, it's used on ProFM and radio ZU - the KSM 44 version. Even though the model was launched in 1998, I can say, without exaggeration, that the Shure KSM 32 is an undiscovered treasure.
