Voices and waveforms dedicated to oriental instruments, which are 10 times larger than in the previous model.
Production: Programme your voices and original styles with the PSR-A5000. The expansion memory has been increased to 1 GB (approx.). This allows you to create and store varied and high-quality content. The PSR-A5000 supports styles with individual time signatures for each variation, enhancing your possibilities in style programming.
Iconic Oriental Instruments: Most important oriental instruments have been freshly sampled with more attention to detail than ever. They feature multiple dynamic layers, various new playback styles, and have been mixed in stereo. We offer Revo! SFX kits with Wave Cycling technology. The Super Articulation! technology is applied to control the different articulations. The voice content is conveniently classified for easy access.
Istanbul Strings: Istanbul Strings is one of the most popular string sections in Turkey. Their timbre has been recorded countless times and can be found in many current musical productions, not only in Turkey but also on international records. The PSR-A5000 offers Istanbul Strings samples for the first time in the arranger.
Drums and Percussion: The extended functionality of the drum kit allows you to play 128 mapped instruments from a single kit. Great care has been taken with the drum mapping to provide an optimised and intuitive layout for oriental drums played on a keyboard. The drum and percussion voices sound very natural and make performance and programming easier. Revo! SFX kits offer more natural drum rolls and improved expressiveness.
The New Portamento: The new Crossfade Portamento adds parameters related to speed and time. The transition speed and the speed of the following notes are editable, allowing smooth and expressive transitions between successive notes.
New Styles: 210 new oriental styles with a richer sound dynamics and more power than ever. Choose styles from a variety of genres, such as Khaleeji (36 styles), Shami (35 styles), Masri (15 styles), Maghrebi (50 styles), Persian (43 styles), and Turkish (31 styles). The time signatures of the style section allow you to use a range of different measures within a single style, meaning you can combine different musical parts. With the style section reset function, you can immediately roll back the style rhythm to beat 1. This is also useful when you need to quickly sync the show on stage. The styles are classified for oriental music performers.
Chord Looper: The chord looper allows you to record a sequence of chords and play it back, freeing your left hand to play chords and providing new ways to enhance your performance. Since the chords are played in a loop, you no longer need to manually repeat chord progressions, allowing you to focus on your solo performance and other operations.
User Interface (UI): The Scale Tune buttons provide easy access during live performances. The individual notes tones can be modified and stored easily as new custom scales in Scale Tune Memories. Assign your preferred function/parameter to the Live Control buttons, Joystick, assignable buttons, pedals, and home shortcuts. The FSB keyboard offers remarkable playability due to its heavier initial resistance on the keys and larger key travel, along with the refined structure of the keyboard. The 7-inch touch screen and new graphical user interface ensure intuitive control over the powerful features of the instrument.
Secondary Output: The PSR-A5000 features two sub-line-out connections that you can use to adapt the sound to different situations. Try directing the bass through a separate subwoofer for a fuller and stronger low end or send tracks and drum instruments to an external mixer to further shape the sound.
