HK Audio CX-12, a professional passive speaker from the Contour-X series, tailored to the needs of rental companies. HK Audio engineers aimed to maximise acoustic performance at high sound pressure levels. The impressive bass reproduction is ensured by modern high-performance drivers from renowned manufacturers. The newly developed horns, with an exceptionally wide opening, allow for strikingly detailed resolution in the mid-range, with ultra-precise coverage. Additionally, there is an invaluable advantage in practice: significantly reduced distortion increases the maximum usable sound pressure level by a few dB.
CX 12 is a compact, multifunctional, high-power speaker that guarantees top-quality results across a wide range of applications. Remarkable features include an exceptionally high usable sound pressure level and excellent fidelity. The homogeneous phase response, remarkable wide dynamic range, and optimised high-frequency horn with BEM form the basis for detailed resolution with a very precise dispersion pattern and simple grouping. To create symmetrical monitor pairs, the CX12 is available in two versions, left and right.
Optimally configured filter presets for Lake software and Armonia+ (Lab.Gruppen and Powersoft) allow for ideal acoustic tuning of the speakers. Perfectly tuned FIR filters with linear phase response and IIR filters for latency-critical applications allow for trouble-free use in combination with all models from the CX and COSMO families.
