Yamaha HS7 is a bi-amplified active studio monitor with a power of 60W (low) + 35W (high) developed to provide as linear and precise frequency response as possible for music production, composition, and home/project studio.
HS7 features a bass reflex cabinet for low resonance, which improves the rigidity of the speaker, meaning that the signal remains clean and uncoloured, helping mixes to sound good on multiple sound systems.

I wanted monitors for professional NVH use and occasionally for listening to music. They are excellent! Tone corrections are needed to sound like normal speakers that are pleasant to the ear. The sound has a slightly shrill, aggressive, somewhat metallic timbre. They do not automatically switch to low power mode in the absence of a signal, but turning them on and off is done without pops, and they can be turned off from an extension cord with a switch. Pros: the balanced input, the input signal being less affected by disturbances; modifying the response from switches; well-built. The white color was my wife's preference :) Strong enough for listening to music in a 3x4 or 4x4 room.
Satisfied with the sound, which is natural in the acoustically treated room. The white color gives them a cool look. Personally, I would want a subwoofer. I couldn't understand why the declared power is 95W. The services from soundcreation are professional, and the delivery is fast with the package very well protected. I will probably order from here again.
I purchased 2 monitors for home listening (flac files) and instruments (electric guitar) and I can say that after 3 weeks I am very satisfied with the sound quality in a 5x5m room. They are connected to a Behringer mixer with standard settings and correct placement in terms of level and orientation. Solid construction, clear sound, adequate bass.
Very prompt delivery and the information requested from the Sound Creation team. Bravo!
In this price range, I highly recommend this monitor model! The most linear in the entire HS series. It doesn't have the excessive bass like the HS8, and the mids are not tiring compared to the old HS80. The only downside might be in the high frequencies, it's not as dynamic and precise as the MSP series... but for this price, it definitely WORTHS!!
