Genelec 8040 BPM

Offering performance comparable to much larger systems, but in a compact package, the bi-amplified Genelec 8040 BPM monitor is ideal for use in many situations where a wide frequency response is necessary, but space is limited. Applications for this monitor include: nearfield monitoring, home/project studios, workstations, control rooms for broadcast and TV, and mobile production vehicles.

The MDE™ (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure™) housing provides the monitor with a wide and linear frequency response both on and off axis, with high-quality stereo imaging.

The audio monitor 8040 BPM is magnetically shielded, has overload protection, and versatile controls for room response. Each 8040 comes with an Iso-Pod™ (Isolation Positioner/Decoupler™) base that eliminates sound coloration by decoupling the monitor from the surface it is placed on. The Iso-Pod™ also allows the speaker to be positioned at various angles, so that its acoustic axis is directed straight towards the listener.

For proper mounting in different environments, the Genelec 8040 includes suspension points on the back of the unit for wall or floor stands, with an additional M10 hole at the base of the unit.
