Novation Impulse 49, professional USB/MIDI keyboard/controller from the new Impulse series featuring a 49-key ultra-sensitive, semi-weighted keyboard with aftertouch. The Impulse series controllers have 8 rotary encoders, full transport control, a large LCD display, and 55mm faders. The Automap 4 software provides easy control over plugins, effects, and major DAWs like Ableton Live, Cubase, Logic, ProTools, Reason/Record, Sonar (PC only), Studio One, Garage Band, and FL Studio. The 8 pads have multi-operational modes and the multicolour backlighting reflects the operating mode.

Very satisfied

Initially, I was looking for a keyboard with 88 or 61 keys to learn to play the "piano". Long story short - I chose the Impulse 49: The keys seem larger than they appear in the picture, a well-designed product, perfect for a home studio.
Features: There are a ton. I've been using it daily for 2 weeks and I still haven't seen them all.
Keys: Very good, I didn't expect them to be so realistic for a MIDI keyboard.
Velocity: Very good on both the keys and the pads.
Connecting requires a USB and a driver, and it works perfectly with Ableton Live. I am very satisfied with my choice.

A very good and flexible controller. I haven't had any problems with any DAW I've used. Currently, I'm using it in Studio One and I can use all the functions of the controller.

Satisfied with the product. I haven't had a MIDI keyboard before. I still don't know how to use it much. Thanks to Mr. Alex for the recommendations. I'm interested in sources of information (links to forums, tips & tricks, a section of personal notes from an expert in the store like for phones at Orange). The keyboard seems sturdy but is difficult for a beginner in MIDI controllers without resources for information and with very little free time.
