For 200 lei this microphone can't be compared to others, it has a very good sound, no background noise, with clarity, you’d think I have a microphone worth over 700 lei, this microphone does its job very well, just that it sounds a bit quieter, and to have a decent audio signal without other sounds, I would recommend setting the microphone to about 80%, but other than that I am very very very satisfied with it, and from a bm-800 it’s a significant upgrade, I recommend it without any problem, just that mine arrived with the microphone box cut at the bottom, but it’s ok ;))

I bought this refurbished microphone, but I have nothing to complain about. From the very first recording, the microphone does its job well. It's easy to assemble in its stand, connects to the laptop with just a USB cable, and the sound is clear.

I am extremely satisfied.
The delivery was quite fast, it arrived in about 2 working days. The microphone is the best in terms of price-quality ratio, I didn't expect it to sound this good compared to how it sounded in the reviews on YouTube, it's worth every penny. Probably the best microphone under 200 lei. I bought it for Discord and I recommend using VoiceMeeter Banana (compressor) and Lighthost (for noise suppression) it sounds perfect.

How to really solve the quiet sound issue!
I'm sorry for many of you, but there's a YouTube video (in English of course) that explains how to open the microphone and clean the solder joints inside because it says you'll find a lot of oxidation. It cleans with 99.8% isopropyl alcohol (with a cotton swab) and adds flux to the solder joints for better quality. The guy says he increased the volume even double (he doesn't mention if background noise intensifies, but it really shouldn't). In any case, it will sound much louder!
I intend to buy it to use on YouTube and try the proposed method, anyway I know a bit about electronics. One thing is for sure, a clean and stable solder joint conducts current much better than an oxidized and poorly soldered one.

Very good price-quality ratio!
I bought this mic a few weeks ago and have already recorded several podcasts with it. I can honestly say that I like how it performs for the price I paid for it.
I don't know many technical details, but it was important for me to get that deep, penetrating, and clear podcast sound, and this mic does it without any problems from my point of view.
Personally, I have satisfied my needs and I am happy with it.

Clear microphone, but...
The microphone captures a clear sound, but the signal is weak, no matter what settings I try. And when amplifying the signal in Audacity, there's also background noise.

It's super okay
Although it records a bit quietly, if you raise the level in the Control Panel and play closer to it (which doesn't bother me at all), it's perfect! It has very good clarity and is solid! I also bought the guitar from Soundcreation 3 years ago and haven't had any problems at all. Thanks to the SoundCreation team!

Relatively satisfied.
Except for the fact that the packaging had some pretty interesting holes in it, and the courier told me he wasn't allowed to show me the product even though the email said to ask for it, I have nothing to complain about. The microphone works at optimal parameters, so I didn't bother to mention the packaging issue, because I don't know if it's your fault or the courier company's.

LOW PRICE GREAT QUALITY!
I bought this microphone, I'm very satisfied with it! It can't be compared to any other. There's no hissing in the background! The volume needs to be turned up a bit from the mixers. A very good microphone (for the money). It's worth every penny! The only thing I could say is that you need to be quite close to it to be heard well and clearly, but other than that, it's extraordinary! I recommend it with confidence!

Very good, I recommend it! Many have a problem with the sound.. The default volume is set low! To turn up the volume, you need to follow these steps:
1. go to Control Panel
2. go to Hardware and Sound
3. go to Sound
4. go to Recording
5. right-click on the microphone > properties > levels and increase the volume...

Good but bad
It sounds good but records very quietly.
As you can see in the next image: http://www.behringer.com/assets/C-1U_fig2_web.png the LED should turn blue, otherwise it needs preamplification or something like that. I'm not very knowledgeable but I know one thing for sure, it records quietly.
You can normalize the volume but there are background noises.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

An excellent product in terms of price-quality ratio. The recording quality depends a lot on the angle and distance from which it is used. As soon as I found the optimal values, I achieved very good recordings.

Weak volume
The volume is quite weak even at maximum. It can obviously be amplified from the software, but then the background noise increases as well.
In conclusion, I do not recommend it for those who need to record at low volume, voice, or quiet melodies.
Otherwise, it is acceptable for the price it has.

I got one too and indeed the microphone is not bad at all for the price it has... but I have a problem... if I record in Cubase it gives me very high latency through ASIO, and if I connect my sound card I can't record.... I wonder why???

A good microphone, but with a big problem: even though the sound is really good, the amplitude obtained on Windows 7 is very low. Although in the video linked below I could distinguish a setting of up to +24db, in the driver I find on my 3 PCs there is only a volume control of 0-100%. I would appreciate if someone knowledgeable could specify here how to achieve that much-needed gain.

Today I received this microphone and did the first test.
My observations are as follows:
- the capture is fine, the voice sounds very good and natural;
- the signal-to-noise ratio is a bit low -- with the microphone 30-35 cm from the mouth, mounted in a sock mount, on a three-segment stand: 22-23dB
- the amplitude of the signal recorded by SoundForge is a bit low -- with the recording level at maximum in the system mixer (I use Windows XP): 24dB, normal speaking.
- SoundForge refused to record with C1-U by default. I had to tell Windows not to use any device for recording other than C1-U and to choose in SoundForge "Microsoft Sound Mapper" instead of "Creative ASIO" (my sound card)
So far I am slightly disappointed with the microphone due to the poor signal-to-noise ratio and the weak output signal. I will also try on Windows 7 and I will get back. And I will also try with the drivers from the included CD, maybe a miracle will happen :-)

Seems interesting...
I think I'm going to buy such a microphone, because if you have a laptop you can take it with you to the countryside, or wherever you want, and when you're in the mood, just: connect and record. I really like this idea. I know it doesn't compare to a mic run through a preamp, etc., but if you don't want something serious, just to record a song for fun, or for friends, or a small profile online, or, well, to start somewhere... it's a pretty good decision. As for the short USB cable, I think you can connect extension cables (in case you want the mic in a soundproof room, and the PC in another). I don't think there would be any problems with that. Cool. I would order again from Soundcreation, because I've ordered before - the guys are serious and prompt. Good luck to everyone!
