• Both the editing of the first volume in the form of an instrumental primer and the organisation of the material for the first stage of progression correspond to the pedagogical principles that guided the authors.
• The manual addresses the assimilation and establishment of the first instrumental skills through progressively graded lessons, as well as the first concepts of music, in the form of a musical primer.

• The entire work is systematically organised, focusing on the learning of scales.

• The manual avoids overloading the volume of knowledge at this stage with dynamic and agogic signs and terms, considering that these concerns may lead to deviations in the consolidation of sound characteristics and emission.
