Stagg MF1621 Drum Silencer – This mute is excellent for all modern kits that do not have a “damper” inside the drum. Most modern kits lack tone control. The reason for this is that any additional hardware inside the drum “suffocates” the instrument's tone. However, this means that it is difficult to eliminate unwanted tones.
