LD Systems U508 BPHH 2 - The U500® series of vocal sets has been developed in Germany to bring you professional technology and accessible sound quality. The selectable transmission power of up to 30 mW ensures that the U500® vocal sets have a coverage range in open field of over 100 meters. They are available in three frequency bands: 584 - 608 MHz and 655 - 679 MHz, where 12 systems can be used simultaneously, and 823 - 832 MHz + 863 - 865 MHz, where six systems can be used simultaneously. The UHF True Diversity wireless systems are equipped with an automatic scanning facility to find the best free frequency and convenient infrared synchronisation between transmitter and receiver to facilitate easy installation.
The high-contrast OLED displays provide an excellent overview of the functions, with indicators for group, channel, radio frequency, signal strength, and battery status. You can even enter individual user names. In addition to the noise reduction function, the silent pilot tone of the transmitter ensures safe operation. It protects against interference and interrupts the receiver in case there are signals without this tone. The efficient technology and high-quality components of the U500® series provide clear transmission, without distortion, delay, or artefacts. The low power consumption means that the transmitter can operate for up to 10 hours with 2 AA batteries.
The vocal sets from the U500® series are available with handheld transmitters, belt packs, lavalier microphones, and with single or dual receivers. The handheld transmitters have interchangeable microphone capsules to suit singing or speaking.
