Rode M3 - An extremely versatile condenser microphone designed for use in home studios or on stage, suitable for capturing guitars, percussion instruments, and vocals. It features a cardioid polar pattern, a 1/2” internally mounted condenser capsule, and a durable metal housing resistant to shocks.

The microphone can be powered via phantom power 48V+ or with the help of an internal 9V battery. The -10dB and -20dB level attenuator (pad), selectable from inside the battery compartment, allows for recording loud sound sources, such as a guitar amplifier or a small drum (premier). The selectable high-pass filter located on the microphone's power switch introduces sound filtering at 80Hz to reduce low-frequency sounds and handling noise.
