HOKEMA Sansula Basic – Kalimba with 9 tines, pre-tuned to A minor, with a resonant membrane face. It is handcrafted in Germany from European beech wood, and the surfaces are treated with linseed oil. The tuning in A minor includes additional notes such as B and F, with the notes A used twice to create a strong harmonic tone.

Sansula Basic is ideal for improvisation and anyone can handle it immediately, without prior experience. Due to the cellulose membrane, this Kalimba is very sensitive and, therefore, not suitable for children. A more robust alternative is the Sansula Renaissance, which has been specially developed for use in schools and kindergartens, featuring a more durable membrane and a reinforced frame, making it ideal for withstanding the demands imposed by children's hands.
