Ideal for small and medium events, with a good mixer and quality microphones (if you have a band or if you are sound engineering various events). Clear, full sound, voices are heard cleanly in LIVE, frequencies are nicely separated, even pushed to the max they don't 'muddy' the mix. The 5-year warranty from the manufacturer says a lot about the quality of the speakers used. In this price range, I believe I made the right choice.

superb speaker!

I recently got this speaker, just one piece. Clear sound, loud, no buzzing at low volumes, shakes the floor if you live in an apartment, and I listened at less than half volume. Yamaha rullzz! But it needs a mixer for adjusting bass/highs/etc. I used virtualdj. For how it sounds, at this price, I don't think it has competition. Totally worth it. It's great stuff.
