AUDAC BASO 18 Black – Passive subwoofer equipped with a high-performance 18” woofer. It has a maximum power of 1800 Watts & an RMS power of 900 Watts. The power of this speaker comes from a 4" voice coil, allowing for very wide movements. The displacements are precisely controlled by the double suspension with reduced losses, resulting in superior linear behaviour.
These carefully selected high-quality materials, in collaboration with precise acoustic craftsmanship, result in an impressive combination of power and low-frequency extension without compromise. The extremely efficient design results in a sensitivity of 96 dB, with a continuous sound pressure production capacity of up to 129 dB. The frequency response ranges from 32 Hz to 300 Hz, also descending to 30 Hz at -10 dB. The enclosure is designed to be compact without sacrificing sturdiness, thanks to the high-quality 18 mm plywood material finished with a structured coating.
Integrated transport handles and the possibility of adding an optional 35 mm pole adapter enhance mobility. Connections are made using two compatible SpeakON connectors, located in a recessed connection cup, allowing connection to other cabinets. This also enables placement close to any wall or corner.
