Previously referred to as “Standard ESP”, all ESP E-II instruments are crafted in our ESP factory in Tokyo, Japan, and are designed for professional players who do not compromise on tone, feel, or reliability of their guitars and basses. The E-II Eclipse DB offers the sublime look of a remarkable Granite Sparkle finish, with prominent white bindings on both sides of the body, as well as on the neck and headstock. This guitar features a set-neck construction with a mahogany body topped with a maple cap and a thin U-shaped mahogany neck, with an ebony fingerboard (and a satin finish on the back of the neck for an additional playing feel). Then, add next-generation components such as a bone nut, Dunlop strap locks, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece. You then achieve the desired sound from a set of active EMG 66TW (neck) and EMG 57TW (bridge) pickups, with coil-splitting available on each pickup via push-pull controls. Ready for serious professional use on stage or in the studio, the E-II Eclipse DB includes a custom-fit ESP hard case.
