I am very satisfied with the purchase. I connected the amplifier to the LED TV with a Scart output and to headphones. My mom has severe hearing loss, and if she wanted to hear a show on TV, the volume had to be at maximum. It's very solid, well made, it doesn't have a power button - others complained about this, but I don't think it's needed, it stays ON all the time for me, it doesn't heat up because it doesn't have to. There's no background noise (hiss), the amplification is good, although it distorts a bit at maximum. From my ear, it has some attenuation on the low end, so the amplification isn't linear. I would say it's only usable for monitoring with multiple headphones or for high amplification, not for quality. I did the tests on ATH-M40x and a sound card at the same level.
