Spectrasonics Stylus RMX Expanded - Plug-in for a virtual instrument, groove-based, being the first product that offers the combined power of Groove Control® with Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine (S.A.G.E.™) technology, providing users with excellent control over groove production and performance. This virtual instrument includes Time Designer®, Chaos Designer®, a multi-page user interface, a core sound library, and is a standard tool in the industry for the most renowned composers and music producers. With the Chaos Designer® option, users can recreate the impression of rhythmic improvisation through a few simple controls, applied to a MIDI file, then drag and drop into the sequencer, and played back with further editing possibilities. The Time Designer® option allows for real-time tempo changes, regardless of tempo, feel, or rhythmic pattern.
The Core sound library contains countless rhythms, grooves, and sounds, tripling the number compared to the previous edition, whose rhythms and sounds are included. Rhythm mixes are broken down into fractions called Elements, for flexibility and infinite combinations. It also contains thousands of Kit modules, 250 kit patches, and the ability to generate user kits, allowing users to create their own grooves and multitrack hits, save them in the plug-in, and even share them with other Stylus RMX Xpanded users.
Stylus RMX Xpanded now includes all 5 Spectrasonics “S.A.G.E. Xpanders,” bringing the total number of grooves/sounds to nearly 10,000. The RMX platform can be expanded with REX files, which allow users to use their own audio loops in the powerful S.A.G.E. workspace.
