Yamaha SV-250 - 4/4 size electric violin with 4 strings, featuring a classic oval profile neck that provides natural comfort. It has a spruce top, a maple body with a semi-hollow resonant design, and an ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs, along with a dual pickup (in the tailpiece and at the bridge), and a blend control for combining the signals from the two pickups.
It includes a built-in preamplifier, headphone amplifier, and controls for volume, treble, and bass. It offers outputs with a 6.3 mm jack connector and balanced XLR, as well as a -26 dB signal reduction for devices with sensitive input impedance, and a ground lift switch. It weighs similar to an acoustic violin, approximately 500 g.
It is powered by two AA 1.5V batteries or an AC adapter (PA-3C) which is not included, or via Phantom power 28-48V.
