The best way to describe Air Zone™ is to say that it is a vintage version of The Tone Zone®. It has the same low string pull as our other Airbuckers™ for sustained playing, plus it features the strong bass response and cool harmonics of The Tone Zone®, with added sensitivity and control. It is an excellent match for very hot amplifiers, allowing the player to fully take advantage of the massive gain of the preamplifier without turning the sound into mud or unclear noise. It is also a great neck pickup for jazz players who need to achieve the top sound with the hollow-body arc from a solid body and offers exceptionally good split and parallel series capability.
