Ready for live use, the Blues Cube Stage is equipped with 60 watts of power, plus a 12-inch speaker that has been specially designed for maximum tonal response with Tube Logic. The open-back cabinet features a poplar wood construction that provides vibrant acoustic tone for solo or group performances.
Clean, Crunch and Dual Tone
The Blues Cube Stage features two independent channels – one for clear tones and the other for crunch. Each channel has its own Boost and Tone switches to shape the character. The simple control of the Clean channel volume reproduces the natural sound, while the variable gain control of the Crunch channel offers a wide range of tones from light to aggressive. By pressing a switch, the unique Dual Tone mode allows you to blend the two channels together for an endless array of rich tones. And like a vintage tube amplifier, the Blues Cube loves stompboxes, allowing you to further shape your personal sound with your favourite pedals.
Open sound at any volume
Every guitarist using a tube amplifier knows they really need to crank up the volume and push the output tubes to get the amplifier to sound its best. The downside is that the sound simply becomes too loud to play anywhere other than large stages, although that certainly doesn't stop guitarists from trying! With Tube Logic, the Blues Cube offers the authentic output tube distortion characteristics and their interaction with the output transformer, and the sound quickly enriches and the feel becomes increasingly dynamically responsive as the overall volume is increased. With its modern approach, the Blues Cube eliminates two of the biggest drawbacks found in all tube amplifiers powerful enough for stage playing - they are extremely heavy, prone to damage from vibrations, and require frequent tube replacement and other costly maintenance operations to keep them running strong. Instead, the Blues Cube operates essentially maintenance-free and has been carefully designed to reduce weight in every area without affecting tone. The Blues Cube Stage features reverb effects, and the rear panel has jacks for connecting an optional footswitch, allowing remote switching for channel selection and Dual Tone mode.
