Tech Fly Rig 5 v2 - The original Fly Rig, introduced in 2014, was suitable for guitarists of all musical styles, from professionals to beginners. Going beyond being just a multi-effects unit, the SansAmp analogue technology allows any Tech 21 Fly Rig pedal to function as a complete pedalboard. You can connect the unit directly to recording mixers and PA systems, as well as enhance your existing amplifier setup. Maintaining the same shape of the metal casing found in previous Fly Rig models, the v2 version returns with new features such as independent reverb, effects loop, tuner, and an XLR output.
SansAmp
- Features the tone of the Blonde Character Series pedal. Includes active 3-band EQ controls, level, and Drive control. You also have the option to use the Drive control, Boost function, or add tones from the Plexi / Cali section. Each method obtains different tones.
Plexi / Cali
- Available is a distorted Plexi tone with detailed mids and well-defined low frequencies or a high-gain amplifier tone inspired by classic amplifier models from the '70s. Each mode can be adjusted as desired using the dedicated Drive, Tone, and Level controls.
Boost
- Boost Pre / Post switchable up to approximately 12 dB to highlight the distortion effect or to increase overall volume during guitar solos.
Delay with Tap Tempo function
- Inspired by vintage echo sounds, with dedicated Time and Repeat controls. A Drift button adds a random and unpredictable element to the modulation, in line with classic effects.
Reverb
- Reverb effect with an independent control
Effects loop
