Neumann U89 I - Studio condenser microphone with a dual diaphragm capsule, featuring 5 selectable polar patterns (omnidirectional, cardioid, wide-angle cardioid, hypercardioid, and figure-8), selectable 6 dB pad, and low-cut filter with 2 selectable levels. It handles sound pressure levels of up to 134 dB without distorting the signal, reaching up to 140 dB. An additional rotary switch activates a filter that changes the low-frequency response to 80 Hz or 160 Hz. Ideal for recording string instruments, wind instruments, and piano.
