AKG D 112 MKII - The AKG D112 microphone has earned a well-deserved reputation as the most widely used bass drum microphone. Due to its ability to tolerate very high sound pressure levels, there is no possibility of overload. The new model D112 mk2 comes with an improved mechanical construction, but with the same sound.

The specially designed diaphragm, which has a very low resonance frequency, maintains a solid response below 100Hz, while a presence peak at 4kHz helps the captured instrument cut through the mix.

The result is a bass drum microphone with a perfectly balanced sound between definition, impact, and power. For these reasons, the D112 is ideal for bass guitar amplifiers, trombones, etc.
