The folks at SoundCreation.ro helped me identify exactly which microphone suits me, being extremely patient, clear, and kind. I really appreciate how quick and organized they were, and the whole process was simple and enjoyable. Even though I didn't see them, I felt they did everything with a smile on their faces! ?
I love this microphone – it's exactly what I needed! The sound is crystal clear, perfect for my needs - both for voice-over and singing. I tested it as soon as I received it and I'm super excited about the result. ?❤️ Thank you so much, SoundCreation! You are the best!! I'll definitely come back next time. ?
So far the microphone works very well. It seems a bit clearer and sounds more airy than the gen 4. If I compare it with the Rode NT1 gen 4, we have to discuss the construction category here. To keep the price as low as possible for the gen 5, they made significant compromises on materials and manufacturing. It feels much lighter and much less robust. Even the thread at the base is shorter and the XLR connection security is hard to engage due to the excessive material savings. All in all, the Rode NT1 gen 5 remains a good purchase, considering the audio quality and the 10-year warranty.
