The U857Q features a 3-pin male XLR output connection for easy connection to female XLR connectors on microphone bases or mounting panels. The U857Q has a small diameter gooseneck format. Its ultra-flexible and sturdy design allows for easy adjustments to achieve the desired shape while withstanding careless positioning.
The U857 offers unmatched immunity to radio frequency interference thanks to the UniGuard® system it is equipped with. Additionally, this microphone supports interchangeable elements available in the following polar patterns: cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and UniLine® line cardioid.
The microphone is powered by phantom power and also provides a UniSteep® low-frequency cutoff filter at 80Hz, which helps reduce the pickup of low-frequency ambient noise.
