The Quantum ES-4 interface requires a power supply of 5V 2.6A, therefore its operation in “BUS POWERED” mode is only possible when connected to a port with minimum USB 3.2 specifications.
When connecting to a port with USB 2.0 specifications, you will need an external power supply (not included in the package) that can be connected to the interface via a cable equipped with a USB C connector and can deliver at least 5V 2.6A

The product meets expectations, including the included software licenses, as per the manufacturer's site. The communication and request for additional information before purchasing from sound creation went excellently.

The interface arrived quickly, everything according to the official specifications and expectations. I easily activated the Fender Studio Pro after registering the product with Fender.
Very low latency, excellent for use in live setups with VSTs.
A power adapter was needed for use with a Dell laptop running Windows 11, even though it had USB 3.2+ and Thunderbolt.
On the other hand, it works with power through USB included in the package on Mac.
I installed it without problems, easy to work with, I use it at home, I'm very satisfied with the interface, I switched from quantum es2 to es4. Thanks soundcreation and keep it up!!!
