Neumann U67 Set

Neumann U67 Set - valve condenser microphone, a faithful reissue of the legendary U67, ideal for vocalists, musicians, and sound engineers in professional studios as well as in home studios. This microphone is equipped with the K67 capsule, a BV 12 output transformer, and EF86 valves that are specially selected for their exceptional sonic characteristics. Its three selectable polar patterns (omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-8) provide versatility for both close and distant capture. The -10 dB pad raises the maximum SPL from 114 dB to 124 dB, allowing for strong sound captures without unwanted distortion. It offers a frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, which can counteract the proximity effect through the selectable low-cut filter.

The microphone is delivered with a shock mount, a 7-pin XLR cable, and a power supply housed in a sturdy aluminium case.

Sonically, this reissue is identical to the U 67 microphones produced from the 1960s to 1971, using the same capsule and electronic design. The BV 12 output transformer is also meticulously reproduced according to the original documentation.
