The LTD '87 series represents a faithful recreation of the original model launched in 1987 from the ESP catalog. The LTD M-1 Custom '87, based on the legendary ESP M-1 model, offers a neck-thru-body construction that facilitates quick access to the highest frets.

Its alder body and extra thin 3-piece maple neck are specially designed to provide speed and comfort, being a model oriented towards heavier musical styles.
