As a founding member of the band Lamb of God, John Campbell has been the source of powerful low-end for this renowned American heavy metal band since 1994. His LTD Signature Series JC-4 bass offers all the quality, playability, and tone you will need for any type of music where the bass is essential. Based on the body shape of the ESP Stream, the JC-4 features a bolt-on construction with a 34-inch scale, using a swamp ash body and a five-piece maple/purple heart neck, with a slim neck contour that plays fast. The Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 21 extra-jumbo frets, split block inlays, and side markers that glow in the dark. This well-balanced bass includes high-quality components such as Hipshot Ultralight tuners and a Hipshot A Style bridge with string slots. The sound of the JC-4 is powered by a set of active Fishman SB-1 pickups. These are versatile multi-voiced pickups that offer flexible tone sculpting with a dynamic range and excellent articulation. Its controls include a push-pull volume to activate single-coil mode, a 2-band stacked bass/treble EQ, and a mini 3-way switch to select between three tonalities. It includes a luxury hard case shaped like an ESP.
