Use Apollo X sound on stage

Universal Audio designed the Apollo x16D for both recording studios and live applications. The interface features Dante connectivity with 16 channels, high-quality audio conversion, and HEXA core DSP processing - one of the most powerful systems running UAD plug-ins in real-time. The Apollo x16D interface can easily connect to digital mixers with Dante.

Fast operation and saved settings

Using a digital mixing engine, the interface ensures easy control over inputs, outputs, and plug-in routing. Thus, the Apollo x16D can be used to quickly adjust the mix and control effect chains easily and in real-time. Settings can then be reloaded via MIDI without interrupting the live application.

Hundreds of effects in a single 1U rack space

The Apollo x16D is available in two editions - Essentials and Ultimate, both offering a multitude of well-known UAD plug-ins such as Teletronix LA-2A and 1176 compressors, Pultec EQs, or Auto-Tune - all in a compact and user-friendly format.

Expand your studio via Dante

You can connect up to 4 Universal Audio x16D audio interfaces to create a 64-channel Dante system with network redundancy. Thus, if you desire a Dante network recording studio, Universal Audio x16D audio interfaces can be an excellent starting point.

The Apollo x16D audio interface can be used to monitor surround formats of up to 9.1.6. This allows you to create captivating audio mixes with 16 channels for live sets or for Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, Sony 360 Reality Audio, and many other technologies.
