Handcrafted by the artisans of the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the ESP Alexi Hexed is the identical model designed and played by one of the most beloved and influential figures in metal music: Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom. The ESP Alexi Hexed features an offset V shape, with a neck-through body construction at a scale of 25.5 inches. It has a thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with a natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, alder body wings, and an ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets. The latest generation components of this remarkable guitar include Gotoh locking tuners, ESP strap locks, and an Original Floyd Rose double-locking bridge. A single passive EMG HZ F-H2 humbucker delivers excellent presence and clarity, with a strong response you can expect from the ESP Alexi Hexed. It also includes an active boost switch ESP MM-04, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings, and up to +18dB of boost when you need it! Available in a Purple Fade finish, with light purple stripes, and matching back and sides. It includes a luxurious ESP hard case.
