I've used them for years... I've abused them for thousands of hours and they still work. The sound is magnificent for the money spent! I guess you can't find anything better for this price.
I bought 2 Yamaha HS7 studio monitors that I use together with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface (also bought from Soundcreation) + MacBook Pro and Lenovo laptops, and the sound is absolutely incredible. Worth every penny. Clear sound, with highs and mids that are totally clear, separated from the strong but very clear bass. Indeed, as I've read online, if the quality of the audio file/stream being played is not high quality, you can feel it, even the good or bad production of the songs being listened to is very noticeable. The order arrived in a few days in Sv, properly packaged, without issues. I recommend 100%.
The bass level is quite satisfying. Working frequency is very close to hs8 but when you compare with hs5 there is a difference. So as a result if you have a big room, choose hs8, but if it is a small place like mine and looking for a good sound quality, you should prefer hs7.. not hs5… I matched with my presonus Ar8c and result is insane :)
I bought these products and use them for professional purposes. (Audio-video editing) Right from the start, I was surprised by the quality and clarity of the sound. I believe the price/quality ratio is excellent. They are worth every penny. I use them with a passive stereo attenuator (Monicon) to avoid adjustments from behind the speakers. I set the audio output from the PC to maximum, and the speaker volume is also set to maximum. The final amplification volume is adjusted with the mentioned attenuator. The result is very good. I recommend them.
I tried the HS8, but I chose this one because it has a better attack on drums/bass. I also tried the HS7 and HS8 at very low frequencies. I only purchased one monitor which I use with different rhythm machines, even with the electric bass. I'm satisfied.
My first impression was good since I discovered this site and bought these speakers. The services are professional and just as they should be, I am very satisfied. The quality of the equipment is exceptional, the prices are good, and yes, I would recommend this site to others. I must say I could have bought from elsewhere, but I had a feeling that everything was fine and professional, and it was! Thank you.
The most linear monitor in the entire HS series (both old and new).. I'll explain why here: HS8 has excessive bass, covers everything / HS80 had too aggressive mids, tiring after a while / HS50 - lack of bass and highs too forward. Conclusion - close to MSP7, because it can't match it at the tweeter but the price is different. The acoustics of the environment where it's used matter a lot. I really like the white ones... they're so white that they can be seen in the dark :)
Excellent once you give them a little break-in on the low frequencies, they are quality monitors that really open up their characteristics after some use. I recommend! Thanks to the Soundcreation team.
