Yamaha EAD10 Drum Module - hybrid module for drums, composed of two parts - the EAD module and the EAD sensor. The EAD sensor mounts on the bass drum facing forward. The twin microphones of the EAD sensor capture a stereo image of the entire drum set, including the cymbals. The EAD module takes this audio data and allows the user to create 200 "Scenes" or patches. These "scenes" use a combination of Yamaha studio effects and samples to create any kind of drum sound, which can be easily stored by the user. If you connect a sound source, it provides the ability to play along with high-quality drum sounds, making you feel as if you are in a studio or at a concert with your favourite band. You can also connect triggers or pads to the EAD module to blend your acoustic and electronic sounds in any way you desire. The EAD sensor has a built-in trigger, which is used to enhance the sound of the bass drum. The EAD-10 also functions as a stereo audio interface for your computer, allowing the drummer to record their acoustic drum set directly into the computer using just a USB cable, without the need for traditional microphones. The EAD-10 module can also be used with the free Rec'n'Share app, which allows drummers to film themselves along with a backing track on their phone or tablet. Then, the video, along with the sound from the EAD, can be combined into a perfect video. Once the drummer is satisfied with their performance and mix, the video file can be stored or uploaded directly to social media or YouTube.
