Made with a solid spruce top with X-bracing and back and sides made of sapele, the Villager™ 12-string features a Newporter auditorium body shape without cutaways, producing a versatile voice that is both articulate and powerful, while providing a comfortable feel for hours of inspiration. The nato neck is designed with a slim 'C' profile that is easy to play, with graphite reinforcement rods for stability, a scale length of 24.75 inches for comfortable tension, and a 'hockey stick' headstock inspired by the 1960s for a distinctive look from Fender's acoustic heritage. Other notable details include vintage-style tuning machines for smooth and precise tuning, a GraphTech® NuBone® nut and saddle for the 12-string bell, and a Fishman® Flex preamp system that allows for faithful reproduction of the guitar's natural sound when connected to an amplifier or recording device.
