In a high gain setup, this pedal works wonders, especially if used correctly. Personally, I use it in front of an EVH 5150 III 50W head, and in the pedal loop, I have a Digitech Bad Monkey (my favorite OD). In the amp's FX Loop, I have a Boss GE7. Under these conditions, the Boss NS2 'cleans' the sound of both pedals and the amplifier very nicely even with the gain turned up high, and it doesn't cut any dynamics. This is one of the pedals I've tried to replace on my pedalboard, but it has returned there multiple times, alongside the GE7. I highly recommend the BOSS NS2.
